Travel: When will the compelling reasons end? Describe the province

For several months, people without a complete vaccination schedule had compelling reasons even though the vaccination/health card had been suspended since 4 April. The county provides some details.

Compelling reasons still apply.

Relinquishment for force majeure?

Currently, unvaccinated travelers must only justify a compelling family, health or professional reason to travel to and from Reunion.

“The lifting of compelling reasons unfortunately does not depend on the province of Reunion. The state must decide to lift compelling reasons for travel to and from Reunion. But for the time being, it is still mandatory for non-vaccinated travelers.explains the province.

Therefore, there is currently no specific date for the lifting of the compelling reasons.
